The College is blessed to have Hidden Treasure, a ministry of the Baptist Women’s Department as a faithful partner. For more than 17 years, the Hidden Treasure Randburg store has supported BTC on a monthly basis through the generous donation of the vast majority of the store’s profit. These funds are regularly set aside for student bursaries and College maintenance projects.

Founded by May Shenton and now run by the ever cheerful Aquiline Mundwa (a BTC Masters graduate), the store seeks to offer affordable second-hand goods to the local community, while at the same time taking the opportunity to minister to those who pass through the shop doors.

Students are encouraged to volunteer at the store throughout the year, and friends of the College are invited to support the efforts of this store by donating household items, furniture, books, magazines, clothing and the like that they no longer need for resale within the store. Seasonal items particularly are always top sellers and donations of these too would be most appreciated.
