The BTC Bookstore seeks to provide students with easy access to prescribed resources at affordable prices. Unlike other retailers, BTC does not make a profit from the books it sells. The Bookstore only stocks prescribed books, printed copies of course material as well as printed copies of the College’s Essential Guides for students who prefer printed copies. All course material and Essential Guides are available for free as PDF documents on Schoology.

Before the beginning of every semester communication goes out to registered students about the opening of Bookstore orders. Students order their books and course material by completing the online order form where they also indicate their preferred delivery method and attach their proof of payment. Orders are packed and set out for delivery or collection once payment has been cleared. Orders from the BTC Bookstore must be paid in full before an order can be released.

Students can collect their orders from our campus in Randburg at no cost. Orders that are sent for delivery are delivered to the student’s nearest Postnet branch for a fee of R120 (South Africa only). The preferred branch for delivery should be indicated on the order form. Students outside of South Africa can arrange with a courier to come collect their parcel for them or request a quote for delivery from the Bookstore team.
