If you have just received your Acceptance to BTC, this page is for you. Start with the introduction video to the right, and then make your way down the page to orientate yourself.
Microsoft office account
BTC HUB - your access to everything
As a Student at BTC you will be given access to Microsoft Office, which you will access using an @btc.co.za email address. In most cases, this email address is your student number followed by @btc.co.za. (Eg: 270150@btc.co.za). In order to be logged into our Learning Management System and Online Library, you need to be logged into Office365.
Once you’re logged into your BTC account, the BTC Hub is your central ‘go-to’ for all things BTC: Downloads, latest news, important links and resources. Visit btc.co.za and click the ‘Student Hub’ link to access the page. We recommend setting this as your browser home page.

LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
SCHOOLOGY
At BTC we make use of a Learning Management System. This is a website (or smart phone app) where you will log on (using your @btc.co.za address) and have access to:

With all the info you need about the course, assignments etc
Course Material
The course notes for you to use for your self-study or lectures
Community
A chat feature to engage with your class-mates and lecturers
Assessments
Your assignments are submitted via Schoology for grading
